Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.~Robert Frost

She was crying
when i opened the door
tears were flowing down her face
as she flung her bags on the floor.

I knew something was wrong
as she laid you on the bed
i knew something went wrong
maybe something your father must have said.

She refused to talk
went into the bathroom all alone
told me she had enough
in an awful tone

There you lay wailing
your eyes searching for her
Your mother died that day
Because none of us could help her

Yes i am more responsible for her death than your father
because i was her sister
I promised to love her.
And yet I wasn't able to stop her.

I am sorry you never knew her
She was truly wonderful,
She would have been a great mother
And made your life beautiful

But she was weak
unable to cope with strain
when she fell down
it was hard for her to get goin again

Yeah everyday I see her in you
You hair your eyes
Your heart too

I know all these years i kept you in the blue
You thought I was your mother
But I so badly wanted to be too
I thought i could fix your life
As I had ruined it before

I am sorry,
You need to know,
and since you are reading this
Probably I am Dead by now
Good bye my sweet angel
my rock star my everything
I hope one day you will be able to forgive me
I hope it shall not be to late.

I hope nobody thinks I am depressed or anything. Its just something i wrote.

Not Just Yet

This is a Blank Verse..by me.

The miles I have to walk
Seem to go down
A lonely & desserted path
And everytime I think
This agonising journey is over
The voices call out & say:
'Not just yet'.

The pain increases by the second
And the suffering appears to have no end
And they say,
I have many more miles to go
But I'm not ready,
Not just yet.

But as the clock ticks
I do find out
That the pain is here to stay
And the suffering is inevitable
'Could I just end it all?'

The voices have no answer
I search frantically for a reply
But I realize
I'm just groping in the dark
And that's when I hear God's voice say
"Not just yet."

HuGs

It's wondrous what a hug can do
A hug can cheer you when you're blue
A hug can say "I love you so"
Or "Gee,I hate to see you go."

A hug is 'Welcome back again'
And 'Great to see you, where've you been'
A hug can soothe a small child's pain
And bring a rainbow after rain.

A hug- there's just no doubt about it
We scarcely could survive without it
A hug delights,and warms & charms
It must be why God gave us arms.

Hugs are great for fathers & mothers
Sweet for sisters,swell for brothers
And chances are your favourite aunts
Love them more than potted plants.

Kittens crave them,puppies love them
No friendly gesture is above them
A hug can break the language barrier
And make your travels so much merrier.

No need to fret about your store of them
The more you give them, the more you get them.
So stretch your arms without delay
And give someone a hug today.
